is The Matrix? It's genius. And yes, we admit, you

Background
Thomas
Anderson, a computer hacker, discovers something called
the matrix and begins to try to find out what it is. A
band of rebels contact him and he begins to realize that
the world around him and life is not as it appears. Given
the choice between seeking to know the whole truth or
choosing ignorance he chooses to seek the truth by taking
a red pill that begins his journey into the real world.
He comes to learn that he has been living in a computer-generated
dream world and that this world is a result of the war
that between the machines (artificial intelligence) and
the humans. He then comes to learn that he is the chosen
one who can save the humans from the machines and from
the illusion or dream world.
The
Matrix movies offer many parallels to Christianity and
the life of Christ. They can easily be used to present
the gospel and spark spiritual and philosophical conversations.
The
movies have stunning special effects and an engaging story
line, which delves into issues that deal with philosophy,
mythology, and theology.
